Privacy Policy

Federal law, as well as the regulations of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), require law firms, like other professionals who provide personal financial services, to inform their clients about the firm’s privacy policy concerning client information.

Attorneys have always been and continue to be bound by a code of professional standards governing client confidentiality that is even more stringent than those required by this law. As your attorneys, we have always protected your right to privacy and will continue to do so in the future.

In the course of providing individual clients with legal advice, we often receive a significant amount of personal information. As a client or future client of The House of Law, P.C., you should be rest assured that all of the information we receive from you is held in strictest confidence, and it is not released to anyone outside the firm, except as agreed to by you, or as required by law.

We retain records relating to the professional services we provide so that we are able to better assist you with your legal needs, and in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines. In order to protect your nonpublic, personal information, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with professional standards.

Registration and Ordering

Users must first register for certain selected services. During registration, users are required to give their contact information (such as name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number). For internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with users and provide requested services, and, for our website visitors, to provide a more personalized experience on our sites.

Surveys and Contests

Occasionally, we invite website users to provide information via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys and/or contests is completely voluntary and the website user has a choice whether to disclose requested contact information and demographic information.

In addition to the other uses set forth in this policy, contact information collected in connection with surveys and contests is used to notify the winners and award prizes and to monitor and/or improve the use of, and satisfaction with the website or other The House of Law, P.C. product or service.

Refer-A-Friend to “The House”

If website users and/or clients elect to use our referral service for informing a friend about our sites and services, we may ask them for the friend's name, areas of interest and e-mail address.

The House of Law, P.C. will store and use this information to send the friend an invitation.

This information may also be used to provide information about our company and related products and services. The friend may contact us as specified in the Refer-A-Friend message to request that no further communications be sent.

Communications with Us

We have features where our website users and/or clients can submit information to us, such as “feedback” forms and “client surveys”. Where such submissions include requests for service, support or information, we may forward them to our agents, as needed, to best respond to the specific request. In voluntarily submitting the information, we may retain e-mails and other information sent to us for internal administrative purposes, and to help us to serve our clients better.

Please note that letters to the editor and similar submissions may be made public, unless they refer to current registered businesses, in which case information is not disclosed.

Users also have the opportunity to choose whether to have personal information shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Please note that we will strive to implement your permission requests within a reasonable time, although for a time you may continue to receive mailings, etc., transmitted based on information released prior to the implementation of your request.
