YSL Indictment Counts 1 - 65 & 191 Alleged Overt Acts in Furtherance of the Conspiracy to Violate Georgia's RICO Act.

Stories are usually best told with visualizations & because we've been looking at this case for quite some time as since it began back in May of 2022, it just hasn't seemed right & one thing that is never acceptable is to sacrifice constitutional rights in pursuit of any alleged crime. Fortunately, we have a team that is able to create complex and value-added visualizations of data that we felt our clients & viewers would appreciate seeing & interacting with.

YSL Indictment 2d Interactive Network Graph:

Green Nodes = Alleged Overt Acts in Furtherance of the Conspiracy to Violate Georgia's RICO Act (Count 1 of 65 of the Indictment & 191 Total Overt Acts Alleged).

Red Nodes = Charged Crimes in Indictment (Counts 2 through 65 of the Indictment).

Purple Nodes = Named Defendants Blue Connector Lines = Connections between Defendants & Alleged Overt Acts

Purple Connector Lines = Connections between Defendants & Alleged Indictment Counts.

You can click and drag nodes around & use the "Toggle Controls" to change the rules that control how the graph behaves (i.e., A larger "Springlength" makes the connector lines longer).

Purpose & Use Cases: Graphs like this are excellent for highlighting the extensive connections within criminal enterprises or any interconnected network.

  • Take note of the completely detached entities in the image below. Jimmy Winfrey and Jevon Fleetwood are entirely isolated from the main network. Assuming there are no spelling errors, this indicates that these individuals are not connected to the central "scheme."

  • Based on our professional experience, this suggests that the prosecution may have either overlooked something, overcharged, or included their alleged acts in the Indictment & Conspiracy count for strategic reasons.

  • This could be an attempt to use their alleged crimes to connect other charges that are more than five years apart, which is the threshold prosecutors must adhere to according to Georgia Code § 16-14-3(2) (the Georgia RICO Act) & Georgia Code § 16-4-8 (the Georgia Conspiracy Act).

Our next steps will be to analyze timelines to see if any of the dates of the Indictment Counts or Overt Acts in Furtherance of the Conspiracy they are connected to (Jimmy Winfrey is OA: 39, 40, 62, 63, 64, 121, 122, 135, 136, 137 & IC: 24, 25, 26 and Jevon Fleetwood is OA: 85, 86, 87, 91, 92, 93, 94, 112 & IC: None) are holding together crimes from much longer ago to more recent, which would explain why these two individuals are so detached from the rest (i.e., they needed to include these, even though they are unrelated, to connect the "scheme").

Note: there are a few spelling mistakes which we will fix and update the post shortly to you get a complete and accurate picture.
